F. A. Q.'s
Q: What is your delivery time? A: Orders are normally shipped within 10 to 14 days of receipt. Please note that you must add the delivery time required for the shipment to reach you via U.P.S. ground service.
Q: Can you accommodate rush orders? A: Yes. I have never left a client without ammunition for an important hunt, however please don't wait until the last minute to order!!
Q: What is your minimum order? A: The minimum order for ammunition loaded with Barnes bullets is twenty (20) rounds. For special orders utilizing other bullet brands the minimum order is fifty (50) rounds as this is the minimum number of bullets I can order.
Q: Do you load wildcat calibers? A: Yes. I load for several of the more common wildcats such as the 6.5 -06 and .30-.338 Win. Mag. I can load for any of the less common wildcats by securing the necessary die set on your behalf, loading the ammunition and sending the entire package to you. You can then retain the die set and send it to me whenever you need ammunition.
Q: Can you load reduced velocity practice ammunition?
A: Yes. I can load your .458 Win Mag down to .45-70 levels for practice or hunting. I also assemble reduced velocity ammunition to reduce recoil so that young shooters can hunt without excessive recoil.
Q: What kind of accuracy can I expect? A: Accuracy should be as good as if not better than the ammunition you are currently shooting. While there are many factors that affect accuracy, my clients often report group sizes in the sub m.o.a. range. That being said, I feel that ammunition yielding three shot groups in the 1.0" to 1.50" range is more than adequate for normal hunting situations.
Q: Can you supply load data? A: No. Insurance regulations do not permit me to supply any load data.
Q: Do you offer high velocity ammunition? A: Yes. My increased velocity ammunition, utilizing the X.L.C. bullet, offers velocities much higher than standard ammunition without excessive pressures.
