RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
TEST AMMUNITION: A special service that I offer to my clients is to design and custom load four different loads (5 rounds each) in one box of ammunition. This will allow you to determine which load will perform best in your rifle without having to purchase several full boxes of ammunition. Once you have determined the best load in your particular rifle, I will duplicate this load for all subsequent orders. This service is especially important for those wishing to regulate a Nitro Express double rifle without spending a small fortune for ammunition in the process. Please note that there is an $10.00 fee for this service. I also offer identical loads in both X-bullets and Super Solids to ensure the closest possible point of impact between both types of bullets.
AMMUNITION REGULATING FOR DOUBLE RIFLES: This service is especially important for those wishing to regulate a Nitro Express double rifle without spending a small fortune for ammunition in the process. I will supply you with a box of twenty custom loaded cartridges that contains five (5) different loads of four (4) rounds each. This will allow you to test five different loads to determine which will regulate best in your particular double rifle. Please note that there is a $15.00 fee for this service.
Nickel plated cases are available in certain calibers, and can be substituted for non-plated cases at $4.00 per twenty (20) rounds.
LOAD DEVELOPMENT SERVICE: If requested I will develop a custom load in your rifle. Please call for shipping instructions. Cost: Bolt action, single shot or lever rifles $175.00 per load per rifle plus the cost of the ammunition utilized in developing the load. Double rifles $250.00 per rifle plus the cost of the ammunition utilized in regulating.
BARNES CR-10: This specially formulated bore cleaning solvent effectively removes all copper and powder fouling leaving the rifling completely clean, and allowing you to obtain the utmost accuracy from your ammunition. 8 oz. $12.00
TETRA GUN LUBRICANTS: These products are definitely the leading edge in firearms treatments. Developed expressly for ballistics applications, Tetra’s patented submicroscopic flouropolymer particles electrostatically bond to all metal surfaces by penetrating and filling the microscopic pores of the metal. This process greatly reduces fouling by eliminating friction within the bore. Once Tetra lubricants have been embedded they will not evaporate or wear off under normal use. The advantages are a substantial increase in velocity, accuracy and barrel life in most firearms as proven in independent laboratory testing. These products are simple to use and come with complete directions. The complete Tetra Gun Kit containing Tetra penetrating oil for treating rifle bores, Tetra light lubricant and cleaner, Tetra bore cleaner and Tetra gun grease is only $24.00.
Maximum-Range X-Bullets™The latest member of the deadly X-Bullet family, the MRX™ features a heavier-than lead tungsten core in its base, along with a Delrin tip. This premium, high-BC hunting bullet is specifically designed to deliver deadly performance at long range. · Deadly Long-Range Accuracy · High Ballistic Coefficient · Flatter Trajectory · Greater Energy at Long Range · Complete Penetration · Double-Diameter Expansion · Razor-Sharp Cutting Edges · Full Weight Retention · Completely Lead-Free New for 2006, Barnes’ super-premium, Maximum-Range X-Bullet™ is designed for hunters who demand 100-percent reliable performance and one-shot kills at extended distances. The boattail MRX™ bullet combines the best features and deadly killing power of Barnes’ copper Triple-Shock™ X-Bullet with a new Delrin™ tip and a tungsten core. The denser-than-lead tungsten core moves the MRX bullet’s center of gravity rearward, producing optimum ballistic performance, maximum penetration and the same exceptional accuracy Triple-Shock Bullets are famous for. A heavy tungsten core surrounded by a controlled-expanding all-copper body means game-dropping performance no lead-core bullet can match. Unlike soft lead cores that fragment or squeeze out under pressure, the tough MRX tungsten core retains its shape on impact, maintaining bullet integrity. Adding a streamlined Delrin tip gives this premium bullet a higher ballistic coefficient (BC), allowing the MRX bullet to deliver flatter trajectory and greater retained energy at long range. Unlike some plastic-tipped bullets, the Delrin-tipped MRX won’t fragment on impact or blow up on game. The MRX bullet provides controlled expansion at both short and long range. The nose of the bullet peels back into four razor-sharp copper petals that resist shearing off. The new bullet typically retains 100 percent of its original weight and delivers the deep-penetrating, bone-smashing power needed for raking shots at large game. Like the all-copper Barnes-X and Triple-Shock X-Bullets, the new Maximum-Range X-Bullet contains no lead to contaminate venison. The MRX is the X-Bullet to choose when you need to make difficult shots at extreme distances. It’s a super-premium bullet that delivers dependable long-range kills. The new Triple-Shock X™ ringed bullet provides significantly greater velocities, lower pressures and less fouling, without requiring an external coating. The bullet delivers a triple impact-one when it first strikes game, another as the bullet begins opening, and a third devastating impact when the specially engineered cavity fully expands to deliver extra shock with maximum transferred energy. Barnes' revolutionary Triple-Shock X™ design provides all the benefits of the time-proven XLC-coated X-Bullet™. In addition to greater velocities, reduced pressures and less copper fouling, the Triple-Shock X™ delivers a three-punch impact that's deadly on game.

Since its introduction in 2003, Barnes’ Triple-Shock X Bullet has earned a reputation as “the perfect hunting bullet.” Now, Barnes has improved on perfection by adding a streamlined polymer tip.
The new Tipped TSX features the same 100-percent copper body with multiple rings cut into the shank. It delivers the same gnat’s eyelash accuracy and “dead right there” performance—but with an added polymer tip that boosts BC and improves long-range ballistics. The tip and a re-engineered nose cavity provide even faster expansion.
Complete penetration, virtually 100 percent weight retention and four razor-sharp cutting petals that doubles bullet diameter means the new Tipped TSX creates more internal damage than any competing bullet. Instant expansion and perfect penetration ensures cleaner, quicker kills.
The Barnes Tipped TSX—accept no imitations.

Designed for stopping large, dangerous game, Barnes' round-nose Solids can be depended on to deliver straight, bone-shattering penetration every time. Unlike other so-called "solid" bullets that are actually full metal-jacketed bullets with lead cores, Barnes' Solids are made of tough copper/zinc alloy throughout. There's no separate jacket to shed, and no lead core that can break up or deform. When it strikes heavy bone, the Barnes Solid doesn't disintegrate or deflect; it simply plows on through. Barnes' Solids range from 45-grain .22-caliber (.224 inch) bullets to massive 900-grain bullets for the .600 Nitro Express. Spitzer-shaped solids-which are deadly for hunting varmints and fur-bearing animals, yet create minimal damage to valuable pelts-are offered in .22 (.224 inch) through .338 (.338-inch) calibers. |

MOLY COATING: Molybdenum Disulfide, properly applied to your bullets, offers three distinct advantages. Higher velocity, better accuracy and reduced fouling. By reducing the friction between the bullet and the bore of your firearm, moly reduces pressures and bore fouling, and permits higher velocities, normally with increased accuracy. Moly coating is especially beneficial in the larger over-bore magnum calibers such as the 7MM S.T.W., .30-.378 and .338-378 Weatherby Magnums, as it can reduced throat erosion by reducing friction and heat. Cost is $5.00 per twenty rounds of ammunition.
MOLY BORE PREP: A superior product that prepares your bore for moly coated bullets is now available. Cost $18.00 per 2 ounce bottle. Each bottle will do hundreds of bore coatings.
