I founded Safari Arms in 1988, when I realized that I wasn’t the only hunter struggling to find quality ammunition available commercially. I had begun loading my own ammunition for personal use about eight years prior, but wanted to be help my fellow hunters acquire the ammunition they would need to give their hunting experiences both the quality and consistency that they deserve.

I field tested my custom ammunition on my first Safari to Africa, where I was lucky enough to harvest 8 animals. I can clearly remember how excited I was both for the hunting and the opportunity to test my ammunition on a larger scale. I think of that successful journey with each new ammunition order I process, remembering that each round is a memory and experience in the making for my customer. I treat each of your orders as if it were for me, because I know firsthand how important it is.
